Ego – Hurts / Kills / Destryos — The Actual you.

I guess Ego is an Illusion most of us prefer to live with …. Making no sense ?? Read on…

What is you  ???  Who are you ? ? How many of us can really think for a while and answer??

Are you your Name ? Job ? Car ? House ? Horse ? Family ……. Oooops I can go on and on…. But are these you ? They all give us an outer  ‘ You’  … But Does  that make you????

Nopes …. The  ” Inner you ” …..You … Yourself ….. is different .. . that only YOU know.  But inspite of knowing this we try to attach ourseleves to the  limitless things of  the ” Outer self ” and try to identify ourselves with it…

In  the process we lose oueselves… So What is ego?? Ego is this wrongful identification of Self with the ” Outer self ” … and this manifests itself  into ourself so much that we live with it & we identify ourself with Ego. Our ego is a mix of  Emotions & Thoughts . Only when we can detach ourself  from these two we can be ourself.

Someone has said :   ” Life is a Drama and the stage is Set…. We are actors…. ” May be that we embody ourself so much with the role tht we forget ourself … I guess It’s time we remember ourselves…. Feel the ” real self ” … It will be a great   ” Home Coming ” …….

By recognising self …. We will rise above the life’s problems with better self consciousness … We will be Happy , Calm  & Strong … We will be at peace with Self.

This is called inner peace .  Silence of mind.

Father — Begining of the world?? OR End of the world??

Surprisingly neither is  true!!…… knowing my prattle all the while,  I know you guys will read this on too…..

Father — A Big name in a kid’s world ……. especially that little princess who is mostly protected by the ” First Hero ”  of her life ….  all her young years …. Lots of studies have revealed the fact that a father-daughter relationship has the biggest impact on het future partner ….

But ignorant to this fact Mother is given the highest pedestal in a child’s upbringing …… Its such a myopic  misconception we have in our family lives that father is  ONLY the bread winner of the family & thus becomes the  ” Role Model” only to the boy kids assuming  they are going to don the same mantle in the years to come…… and a father is just not expected to know of  Teddy bears / Doll houses / Barbie dolls — of their own dainty little doll ……..

A father’s right care can make that  ” Fragile” girl  really confident to face the realities of the world!! ……… Can U believe Nehru being a forced ” Absent father ” kept in touch with Indira Priyadarshini [ Yeah ....  Our Indira Gandhi ] with a lot of letters he kept writing to her from all over the world… from the prison too…. [ All of them have been compiled into a book " Glimpses of World History " ]

A girl keeps observing her Dear old Dad always… funnily enough an ‘ absent father ‘ also!! …

Ironically what ever is the kind of father a girl has she continues to “Seek”  out to a man who is te replica of her Daddy no matter what he is / was …. this psychology is what makes the presence of a ” Right ”  Daddy in a girl’s life more essential…. But again not all are Lucky!!

It is also proven fact that a girl who does not get father’s care becuase of the way he is or because of the absence of a father in her life has her Marital Life doomed from the begining ….. unless a great care and counselling is given by the mother right from the begining …. imbibing the true/strong values of a father even if you did not have one!!!

A father needs to own up the daughter …… alive or dead ….. yeah dead… as the mother will be the true mirror of what the father was and thus father becomes the reason for the whole behavioral pattern of a girl especially her interactions with the men of her life….. and essentially the most important person of her life ….. the husband!! and of course KIDS of her life!!

Even as you read this, your child may be seeking attention elsewhere.  If you aren’t there for the child, you are losing a battle you aren’t even fighting.  Your child  could be seduced by the fantasies portrayed on television.

As a father, you have more power to influence your child than anyone else on earth.  I do not mean discount mothers.    Atleast mothers try & make the attempt, many fathers don’t.   Onevshould be a father who takes an interest in every aspect of your child’s life.  This can be done  only through being there for the child.

The day of the gruff and distant father needs to be put to rest.  If nothing else, a child needs someone to talk to that he/she can trust.   Fathers should take this role most seriously. 

Why am I thinking…….. all these???  …… I had a great Dad too….. But now all broken thoughts……..

Hoarding??? Let Go!!….. Where..?? You should know!!

 

Sunday…..Busy clutter cleaning time…..with time paucity… I was all hands.. all over my cupboard….my desk…. everywhere ……. THEN … I only heard the clink  ….. and yeah…. my room was strewn over by those shining crystal pieces… small ones tinkling whenever the light fell on them… I could even see the red piece …  that was once a crystal heart …..

 Wondering what  I am getting at ?? … Yeah… I had this crystal angel with the red heart in its hands falling off my book rack….. and …. was broken into pieces  … I was aghast ….. at the sight of it  ….. OR was I really ???

Let me think about it …….. I got this quaint little  piece four years back on my Birthday [ You know friends they will try to impress you with anything ].. … … I did not know where to keep it …… finally it found its way on the top of my book rack along with all those little things that share the same space…… Oh …. believe me I have so many such pieces all around my sweet little room… in fact my room is my home… so  you can imagine its a small museum by itself !!!hmmmm …. with me as the Masterpiece   ….

You find so many such things in my room… an old ticket to park… a  chocolate wrapper  … a movie ticket …. a parking ticket  … small hotel bill  …..  bus ticket …  you name it …. I have all of them … my sweet little souvenir’s … sounds familiar  ???  Welcome to the Fraternity…. of… HOARDERS….. he he We hoard them all …. not knowing where they will be used … and just not getting to trash them …..

Well ….. If I think hard …. I am rather more than happy to clean the whole thing ……. Come to think of it …… most of us keep all those unnecessary old things and never find a reason to throw them …. we keep hoarding them …….  We all do ….. We fail to realise …… actually  hoarding– is against our own prosperity  …… I have also heard that  whatever that can be replaced with money should never be regretted ….

Apparently …… Letting  go is not only for the material stuff … but for the feelings and  Relationships as well .. I guess that’s where the never-say-die attitude of an average Indian comes to help….. Being able to shrug off and Move on …… U Know …… Let Go …… One can not sit and worry endlessly  about what can not be helped or replaced …… 

So long as one keeps thinking of old love ….. old relationship ….. harbouring  any kind of feelings of …… resentment … hatred …. memoirs …. reproaches …. sadness …. its going to be very difficult to pave way to a new relationship…. If at all one needs to forge a new relationship … one has to create that void… that need …. to have a new one and it is just not possible … until you let go ….. create that space for the new ……..

Not everybody wants to voluntarily part with ……  may have to forcibly part with people …  What becomes more important is that we need to learn from our past relations ….. we need to understand our own mistakes  rather than worrying about the wrong that happened …. and move on to having better outlook on Life ….. Love….  being more positive ….  more dynamic …. that way it becomes easy to form a new equation with a different new person……..

Thus for life to give that  second , fresh , another chance to Love ….. allow love to enter your life , create that empty space  …. . and that is possible only when you LET GO  ……….

Yeah I know ……. having said all that … its just not easy ……..  needs lot of self drive ….. Lot of Support ….  Motivation from around us…. and yeah double yeah…….. Lucky are those who have all the support they need to wade through …….

But

Me … Myself… Introspection??

Too damn difficult to look at self… think of right positives and all the negatives!! Huh … tiresome indeed….  Do we ever judge ourseleves?? We DON’T!!! 

But scuttlebutt others??? we are glad to do!!

I have read this saying ‘ When you judge others, you are judging yourself ‘  Going overboard?? Don’t worry it was not meant for U

Some traits I find bad about me….

#  I believe in my gut feeling so much that sometimes I instantly dislike a person the moment I meet them….

#  When I don’t know what else to do.. I am extremely depressed.

# I can be too damn COLD when I have unknown worry on my mind…

# I am too unpredictable!!

# I don’t trust … I give up easily!!

# I am very opinionated!!

# I don’t forgive and forget easily!!

# I am always on worry boat!!

# I take unknown guilt trips..

# I can be melodramatic

Life’s SIMPLE …..

Life  …….     I have always felt life is one of the most beautiful gifts as long as one knows how ti live it … Its too simple … if we plan to keep it so….. Only If we Plan to !!!

I really do not have a clue as to why people make life so complicated for self and in turn for all others related directly or indirectly to them……How can we go ahead and atleast try and make it simple….

I really do not know whether I am succsessful in Life but I try and follow some simple rules…. I said TRY………Ddo not Hold me for anything….. 

Some of them…… easier Said than Done !! I know it ……So is the ease in putting this across

* Wake up to better morning… How better ???? U Say it… Its a gr8 morning everyday!!!

* Talk with urself for a good while each day… Introspect…I prefer first thing in    the  morning with out fuzzy mind…… U know mind fresh and active……

* Do not worry too much on getting late for work….Bosses glare is fine sometimes..

* Do not promise yourself what you can not do!!

* Dream a lot!! Greatest motivator of life.. but be  consistent with ur dreams…. Dont design every day!! [ Some one said.. You can achieve anything .. If you stick to it long enough!!]

* Think of anything with intensity!!

* Be thankful for all the small things that life has  offered…

* Be happy with yourself

* You can be what you are ONLY!!!

* Do not get into arguement with stupid people…

* Just be good yaar.. Do not get into mess with anybody!!

* Keep some gr8 amout of time life  each day to do  what you love MOST!! and do IT…

* Even if you get a stupid thought… Do it with GUTS….

* Love yourself !!!!  Best person to fall in love with and easily available and can never ditch you!!;-)

* Stop bothering about others…..:-)

* Love LIFE & Have fun…..

* Think of giving back to society…

* Love nature….. it has a great small and big things to offer……

Hey !!  They are just small tips… Not exactly tthe rules I planned in the first place to scribe… I am sure but they are Good!!

Weakness!! … can b strength too!!

Human beings are born with good raw material that can be moulded into anything ….but growing up we pick up all other things like weakenesses and strengths…

Why is it that some things becomes our wekness and some strength???  Our upbringing is to be blamed again…too many factors responsible for these characteristics.. somethings we get passionate about and they become our strength and what we are not ready to take risks and are never confident about become our weak points…

Pathetically very few of us can even recognise these two variants of life.. Strengths and weaknesses.. Only when we are capable of getting hold on our recognition pattern ….. I mean recognise ourselves.. our own good and bad  !! We can really think of going ahead in life ..

Otherwise life become sa existance.. awareness of a self is must for a little meaningful Life!!! But then one can Live the Life to its Fullest .. If one can assses  their own weakness  accurately and try to make that the strength of life!!

Bravo…….. You are at it!! Acheived…. Life’s actual .. way of living!! .. .. I have heard peple say work on your stengths.. but I always feel one needs to work on how to keep the tough ghosts of wekness on bay.. and not allow them to hamper the growth ….. and the is the actual strengh .. U know Controlling the weakness!! .. ….got me???

No……….  Iam sure U find this yet another stupid thought series!!

My dream

  

Dreams are never a bad trip….. I have this dream place.. Australia.  One day I want to be here!!

I do not know anything about this place I am clueless as to how I would go about making this happen But only thing I am damn sure is one day!! one fine day I  am there 

Now that’s what I call my blind dream ………….

Hmmmm……….Change is constant!!

Just felt like changing the Look and feel of my pages… But that does not change my thought process!!!
